Artwork Requirements for DTF Transfers
Getting your file right the first time means faster turnaround and better prints. Here's what we need.
File Formats
- Best: PNG with transparent background
- Also accepted: PDF, AI, PSD, TIFF
- Avoid: JPG (no transparency — will print with a white box)
Resolution & Size
- 300 DPI at actual print size
- Size your artwork at 100% of the dimensions you want it to press
- Gang sheet width: 22.5 inches
Colors
- RGB or CMYK accepted — we color-manage on our end
- Pure white elements print with white ink and will show on dark garments
- Semi-transparent pixels and soft glows/shadows may print differently than they look on screen — flatten effects when possible
Gang Sheet Tips
- Leave at least 0.25" between designs for clean cutting
- Rotate designs to fill your sheet — you pay by sheet size, not by design count
- Mirror/reverse is NOT needed — upload artwork exactly as it should read
